I will create: fic
In the following parts of fandom: BBC series
For the following pairings: None (Happy to focus on Sherlock and John friendship, or one or the other character individually)
I like working with the following categories: gen, humor, angst, death (major or minor character [I don't mean this is MY FAVORITE THING, but I'm not uncomfortable with writing it]) unhappy endings (again... don't mind it), character development heavy vignettes, case!fic (not my strong suit, but something I'm working on), odd fixed-length-type formats, I really enjoy specifically technique-related challenges
I am willing to create for the following kinks: None

I want to receive: fic
In at least one of the following parts of fandom: BBC
For at least one of the following pairings: None, but I like stuff about John and Sherlock's friendship (and I mean really JUST friendship, not asexual/platonic romance, or friendship-becoming-romance which is something I've seen a lot of in this fandom)
I like stuff in the following categories: Gen, angst, dark (but not AU), death (major or minor character) unhappy endings (don't necessarily want one, but I enjoy them when written well), character study, casefic, humor
I wouldn’t mind any of the following kinks: None

Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I'll just be a negative nelly here and list my pet peeves. Because honestly, as long as it's gen and it doesn't majorly fall into one of my pet peeve categories, I'll probably like it. Pet peeves: 1. Epithets, including but not limited to "the elder Holmes," "the older man," "the younger man," "the curly-haired man," "the blond-haired man," "the shorter man,"... you get the picture, right? 2. Men who act like PMSing women or high school girls... So, if you are writing friendship-that-is-not-also-romance, please don't have lots of physical affection/angst (with or without weepiness) over emotional-sensitivity-type issues/etc. 3. Hurt/comfort. Yes, it's many people's favorite category, and it is my pet peeve. I'm crotchety like that. Should add, though, that if someone is hurt in the course of the story, I don't mind it being attended to at some point... it's just that I don't want that to be the focus of the story... 4. Fluff and more fluff--Don't want to read it; don't want to write it. 'Cause it drives me up the wall.

I'd love to see a good case!fic, though!--A creative updating of one of ACD's stories perhaps? There seems to be a dearth of them, particularly in light of the fact that this is a detective show! :-D

Special requests: I'd love to write something Sherlock-centric. Don't have much time/inclination at the moment to work too hard at developing any characters other than Sherlock or John (I don't mean that snottily, but in a real-life-is-going-to-make-it-impossible way) and I'd prefer to spend my time writing mostly Sherlock himself.
