What I'd like to receive: Holmes/Watson in the verses listed above. I love (in no particular order)... long fics with engaging plots, h/c, intellectual puzzles, compassionate!Holmes, smart!Watson, guns and swords, theatrical productions, bored!Holmes, concerned!Watson, domesticity, running around London, crime solving, driving Mrs. Hudson nuts, libraries, violinist!Holmes, Holmes sleeping with Watson's jacket, shooting holes in the wall, intense sexy times, The Final Problem through The Empty House, cuddling in the armchair, playing with food, Christmas-y season goodness, close calls, dark alleyways, annoying Lestrade, snowy days, cabin fever, Holmes!thought process, candles, texting of the BBC kind, horseback rides, Watson's cane, inside jokes, bending the law in the interest of good, roaring fires, the barter system, sleigh rides, first times, established relationships, and sweet-but-not-sappy endings. A lot of that applies to art as well. Feel free to interpret how you like. However, I am most happy if the art characters closely resemble either the '09 film or BBC characters. :) Ratings anywhere between PG-13 and NC-17 are welcome.
What I wouldn't like to receive: I'm fairly "vanilla," aka. I can handle tied hands, a bit of biting, or even a light riding crop, but I don't want blood or bruises. Future-wife/girlfriend-related angst, mpreg, genfic, anything involving bodily fluids other than saliva or cum, harsh medical practices (as kinks), asphyxiation, watersports, bloodletting, cheating, deistic swearing ("God," etc.), genderswapping, deathfic, kid!fic, extreme sappiness, outsider POV, AU, crossovers, absolute PWPs, and crack fics are also turn offs. Noncon is alright if it fits well into the plot and is not between Holmes and Watson.
What I can create: Holmes/Watson icons, backgrounds, and fics in the ACD/'09 film verses. I'll also attempt BBC verse, but am not as comfortable with writing it yet.
What I can't create: Any pairing besides Holmes/Watson, extremely graphic porn, mpreg, incest, anything involving bodily fluids other than saliva or cum, harsh medical practices (as kinks), asphyxiation, watersports, bloodletting, cheating, deistic swearing, outsider POV, AU, crossovers, and crack.
