I wouldn’t mind any of the following squicks and/or kinks: Canon-compliant sensitive themes (i.e. canon-typical racism/homophobia, alcohol/drug abuse, etc). However, while I'm comfortable with these being referenced as an element of the piece, I'd prefer for these to not be the primary focus (especially for period racism).

For fic, I would prefer something with some plot or character study to it rather than fluff or domesticity on its own; I LOVE introspective/character study gen that pokes around in characters' issues/relationships under the guise of something simple.

For original music, I'll be delighted to receive anything! Surprise me! If you need inspiration for original music, something inspired by one of my Holmes fics would be really cool!

For podfic - I'm not sure if I have a lot of Holmesian works that are long enough, but I've never received a podfic for anything I've written before so I would be super flattered. Anything I've written that is Holmes-related would be wonderful but I have a slight preference for my previous Holmestice fills, one of my longer Great Ace Attorney one-shots, or the fic I received for Summer 2024 Holmestice.

I think I've become the niche adaptation crossovers guy at Holmestice lol but I would also LOVE to receive one! Please write the weird crossover/fusion of your dreams so long as it features at least one of the relationships or canons I enjoy. If my gifter is having fun I'm sure I will too. <3

Dorian Gray crossover where Holmes and Watson solve the murder of Basil Hallward & the suspicious suicide of Alan Campbell. I want this GOTHIC and SUPERNATURAL and SEMI-UNSOLVABLE, have fun with it!!

A casefic or case rewrite, especially for a canon that didn't originally have a version of that case and especially if it twists around the original case. (I received a lovely House rewrite of Lion's Mane for my first Holmestice, so if this idea strikes you, anything except Lion's Mane please! <3)

It was only a matter of time before I wound up with a rarepair even for Holmes lmfao, I would love to see more Watson/Henry Baskerville! I don't really want to read H/W infidelity for this one, but I'd be interested in pretty much any other dynamic you could come up with.

Holmes/Watson whump/hurt-comfort after a case that has mortal danger. Granada Greek Interpreter would be very fun in particular, it's one of my favorite versions of that story!

Thor Bridge smut that makes cheeky reference to the bit about Watson's gun on the train.

Mycroft missing scene fic, especially for Bruce Partington Plans, Greek Interpreter, or between Final Problem & Empty House.

Let's be real I just love Mycroft in general, please provide me Mycrofts LOL. My favorite adaptation Mycrofts are KAJ/Waterhouse's young Mycroft and Watson & Holmes' "Mike", but I also love theoretical TGAA Mycrofts.

historical LGBTQ+ themes (green carnation motifs my beloved) and intertextuality with other gay Victorian lit, POC/diaspora history

This one's a little wobbly, but I am so interested in anything that plays with the meta of Holmes and Watson finding each other over and over again across universes & versions of themselves. If you find yourself inspired by something that's reincarnation AU flavored in this way, please do feel free to play with it!

Adaptation-specific:

For The Great Ace Attorney, anything to deal with the Professor murders/Baskervilles fallout (feed me Yujin Mikotoba whump/hurt-comfort please). Bonus points if you include Mycroft; I love seeing TGAA takes on him as he doesn't actually appear in the games. I would also love anything set during TGAA 2-4/5, or post-series-- maybe a take on retiring in Sussex with Sholmes & Mikotoba?

Basically anything Watson & Holmes, I had a fun time writing them for the first time for Holmestice and I am kind of obsessed with this spin on the dynamic? I love adaptations that make H/W hit the ground running so to speak, and I love that they're a little bit silly together. I'd really like to see them testing the waters early relationship. I would also love to see a work that includes New York as a character in itself, there's so much to build off there (and I am Californian and lacking in that familiarity to write it myself LOL).

KAJ/Waterhouse Mycroft is one of my pet fave adaptations and I'd love to see more fanart in general! Fic-wise, I'd love to see the comedy of errors that is Mycroft/Douglas played out as frustratingly as possible before a getting together payoff. Or even no payoff?! Angst and unrequited are 100% on the table for me! But really, I love this adaptation so much I'd be happy with just about anything. I also love the Asian supporting cast a lot so anything featuring Huan and Ai Lin would be delightful to see too!

Crossovers: Bunny & Raffles vs Holmes & Watson, other characters meeting KAJ's Douglas & Mycroft, TGAA's Iris Wilson meeting other Holmes & Watsons, an adult Iris Wilson helping/bothering Poirot and friends, a young Poirot meeting Holmes & Watson, a funky unsolved Holmes case that Quin & Satterthwaite get involved in... like I said earlier, just have fun with it and I'm sure I will too!
