Treats Policy: As of February 2022, AO3 has introduced a setting to let users opt out of receiving additional gifts outside of formal exchanges (in Holmestice terms, "treats"). The sign-up template below includes ratings for what you're willing to create and would like to receive. Sexual content is deliberately separated from violence and other mature themes, so if you are someone who enjoys PWP but not violence, you have an easy way of indicating that (or vice versa) for the mods and other Holmestice participants.
The template also includes a list of suggested Holmesian fandoms and iterations. This is not an exhaustive list -- if you have another fandom in mind, please include it in your sign up! Alternatively, if you're open to offering or receiving any Holmesian fandom, please feel free to say so. Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: As everyone can probably tell by now I am a sucker for anything that explores Holmes' aromanticism <3 Bonus point if Watson is also aromantic! Explorations of their gender (can be anything) is also very cool with me :D
I like characters study focused on Holmes & Watson and the various grievances they have to deal with so anything about drug/alcohol addiction, gambling addiction, mourning, disability, neurodivergence, etc, is really interesting to me!
All in all, as long as it focuses on Holmes or Watson and remains queerplatonic/platonic, I am open to all sorts of things!
