lol@Watson’s thousand yard stare. which was the greater onslaught, the retirement Bee Facts, or the battle of Maiwand?

Definitely the same bee facts that he's been hearing for decades...

Awwwwww this is so so cute! I love how pleased Holmes looks talking about the bees and Watson's expression is so funny, he's definitely heard Holmes talk about this before on several occasions

ghostofnuggetspast: Silly pen sketch of a bemused head sitting in Sherlock's fridge next to a jug of milk. There are various containers of dubious contents. At least one contains eyeballs. (Default)

Watson's reading Punch, a humorous magazine which was popular in the Victorian era (and after).

I can't remember if Howard Watson ever reads The Strand (I mean does he even write for it???) but he loves his Punch magazine. Thank you!

The only thing missing is Watson sarcastically lip-synching to Holmes' entire well-worn spiel. Adorable, and captures the Howard-Crawford personalities beautifully.

Glad you liked it!!! You had some really cute prompts so I thought I'd offer a different flavour of retirement that I'm used to drawing.

Always amazed by how well personality is conveyed by a single still-frame moment in time. I love this rendition of HH!!!!!

The Marion-Crawford side eyes do a lot of the heavy lifting tbh

Well, yeah but you need to be able to draw side-eyes. I ran into this with animating my gift. The fine line between Sherlock looks sad and exhausted and Sherlock is cosplaying a raccoon.
