Thank you so much for another wonderful round of Holmestice! The mods want to say THANK YOU to all the creators who joined us this round. Being in this community with you is a joy and an honour.

Reveals and the Master List go up on June 20 (Baker Island time). Until then, please enjoy and comment on all the lovely fanworks. (If you haven't thanked your creator for your own gift yet, please do!) Creators, please do NOT respond to Dreamwidth comments with your name attached or post your works elsewhere on the Internet until reveals go up in the community. You may of course reply to comments on AO3, which preserves your anonymity.

Meanwhile, stay tuned: treats are coming up! We have a bumper crop this round! For anyone thinking of making a treat, we will accept treats until reveals, so if there's a prompt that inspires you, please have at it! Just use the regular submission guidelines and send your headers to holmesticemods@gmail.com.

Well, I did say I knew that first thought would turn out to be wrong! That was just the first work that caught my eye as a possibility for your work, and of course there were many additional ones after that.

This is interesting for me, actually, because I'm used to working on the full scale of ALL the works in a Holmestice round, and being able to use process of elimination as one of my tools. I'm not used to trying to pick out an individual creator's work from the pack, absent other context. But let's see what I can do, before I head over to look at the master list...

Off the top of my head, the Beekeeper's Picnic one would probably be my first guess for you, because it's apparently a brand-new fandom that most folks wouldn't have had contact with yet, and it includes both text and art. Also, 5 tildes as a section break is a less common appearance in Holmestice, so maybe you're switching it up. :-)

I still think either of the A Study in Emerald and/or Lovecraftian ACD fics *could* be you, so maybe that's a second-place guess. 10 CCs of that could also be you (didn't you write Sherlock & Co. last time?); I don't know the 'verse, but commenters are saying this fic really captures the characters, and you're so good at disappearing inside the tone of each different world you try. (Although would you, a mod, have thanked "the Holmestice mods" in an endnote?) So I suppose that's my third-place guess.

You could have also written any of the crossovers and/or rare 'verses...or maybe you've REALLY surprised me and gone straight down the line with an ACD or Granada or Rathbone fic with no shenanigans in it whatsoever. ;-)

I can't wait to be proven wrong on all counts!

Well, I would say I haven’t thanked the mods yet in any work, but now that you mention it…I wonder if I can get over my instinctual hesitation and do that next time!
