Date: 2025-06-13 05:18 pm (UTC)I had not read this story before (shame on me, as it is right up my alley and was so much fun to listen to).
The whole composition of this podfic is very nice to listen to. I really enjoy the violin music you used to break the story up and I am so impressed by all the different voices throughout your reading of this story.
To have not just one, but two distinct versions of John and Sherlock is so cool. I especially enjoyed your versions of Podcast John (he felt sooo authentic all throughout. His rambling, how he interacted with both Rosie and Archie and his panic towards the end) and your voice for BBC Sherlock (he was trying so hard to keep his cool and failing so spectacularly at it as the adventure continued). I also enjoyed your Gwen Lestrade, because she is just the best.
This is such a beautiful gift and I had so much fun listening to it (and will be listening to it many more times). Thank you so much for recording it and also for choosing this fanfic, I am so glad to be introduced to it, the story is truly delightful.
I guess all that is left for me to do is to go and listen to some more Sherlock/Sherlock&co podfics (poor me) so that I can make an educated guess on who recorded this great gift. I might have an inkling, but I will need to confirm it ;)
