Notes:I too, for ages, have always thought of the poem as perfectly suited for a multiverse H&W graphic and yet I couldn't find anyone having done so here's mine. Hope you like it, so glad you reminded me how gorgeous a piece the original is and how it fits those two perfectly.

*Opposite H. A. Saintsbury's Holmes in The Valley of Fear (1916), Cullin is (to my knowledge) the first reliably identifiable screen Watson for whom footage still exist, albeit from a different adaptation. ** I'm not convinced that Tréville's Holmes actually has a Watson, as the actor usually credited as Watson only appears as Musgrave.

Omg what a surprise?! This is perfect, I love it so much!! All the placements in the poem you've made are so so good-- Joan "is that really you", the TPLOSH/Rathbone combo, the attention to detail with the first Watson & the only adaptation without a Watson! So many more!! But the Granada EMPT for "I have many bad ideas" is killing me in particular, my heart 😭 I also really love that you included Study in Terror, it's quickly become one of my favorite Holmes films & Donald Houston makes such a cute Watson, so I am delighted to see his face again here <3
