We recommend sherlock60's Round 5 Discussion Posts. scfrankles spent over a year compiling historical linkspams on topics inspired by the original canon stories, and then generously shared what she learned with all of us. I highly recommend the collection for anyone needing inspiration or background for Victorian- or Edwardian-era fanworks!

Types of fanworks you can beta: Fic

Fandoms: I'm not in the mood for BBC Sherlock, ACD Holmes, the Mycroft Holmes series, or Study in Emerald, but I'm happy to beta-read for any other fandom. (Crossovers are fine.) I'm fluent with Kitten Holmes, The Seven Percent Solution, the Charlotte Holmes series*, and The Affair of the Mysterious Letter. I'm semi-familiar with Ritchie Holmes and 221B Baker Towers. I'm also happy to beta-read for fandoms that I'm unfamiliar with! One time I beta-read for 22nd Century and it was awesome.

(*Okay, fine, it's been a few years since I last read Charlotte Holmes, but I will happily take the opportunity to reread the series.)

Pairings: Anything except incest

Ratings: General Audiences or Teen & Up

Specialties: In addition to the normal beta stuff, I'm always up for beta-reading and/or ghostwriting AO3 tags, fic summaries, and content warnings. If you're about to tag your fic with How Do I Tag, DM me.
