Hey all,

as you may have noticed, we've started posting today. There'll be several fanworks up to read / look at / generally admire each day until the 21st.

However. We've changed a few things, and one of them is using a mod account for posting. We're not tracking comments with that account, so if you have any issue whatsoever with any post at all, please PM us or contact us via e-mail. We won't notice if you leave a comment.

Thank you, and have fun!

Hooray!

I've noticed that traffic for Holmes-related fests (not just this one) is surprisingly low. I guess I'm accustomed to the HP exchanges where there are floods of reviews and squees for the entries. Will Sherlock-BBC and other coms allow participants or mods to remind people that the fest is posting in order to increase traffic? I feel bad for participants when response rates to the stories are so low... or does it pick up as the fest posts? (Am a newbie) :)

GAH. How incredibly frustrating. I can see not wanting the BBC com flooded with constant reminders, but really... I wonder if they'd allow the fest mods to post on behalf of the anonymous writers and link to the com. They do this for one of the exchanges I'm part of. Several times a week there's a list of updated stories, etc., and during Exchange season, they also list stories that have posted over those days on that update list...

I'll try and make a point of mentioning these in the Sunday Recpost :)

What about Cox & Co? I don't remember seing a reminder there, not sure if it's allowed, but it might be worthwhile.
