I LOVE period- and stylistically- appropriate music, theatre, literature, and art in fic but am also highly tuned to inaccuracies, and I personally loathe Rent, Moulin Rouge, and most classical-crossover music. I also love disguises, magical realism, science fiction, fantasy, suspense, supernatural elements, folklore, farce, tragedy, and happy, hopeful or at least bittersweet endings.

I prefer not to receive A/B/O, marriage law, or other coercive sex tropes (subversion of them might be fun, though), Mary-bashing, onscreen or gratuitous animal cruelty, smoking/drug use portrayed in a sexy way (both are canon, so their general inclusion is fine) and am averse to excretory kink.

My one preference to rule them all is that you have fun with whatever you make for me, even if it includes things I don't normally seek out. Consider this permission to make something that you love and/or start the Holmes-related project you've always wanted to do!
