I’d like to see what happens after the movie ending. Ratigan survives, but for a while, Basil is bored, having “lost” his primary adversary whom he’s been obsessed with for ages. (He has a literal picture of Ratigan on his fireplace mantel, and Ratigan has a plushie of Basil in his home too. They have a mutual obsession with one another).
I want to see Basil pine for Ratigan and mourn for his loss, feeling like he can’t be a detective any longer with no one to match his brains - only to find out that Ratigan is planning some new kind of crime and is alive.
Since this is a mystery/crime based canon, you could be super creative on what you want the crime to be! Just as long as Ratigan and Basil are the two main players.
I’d like to read about the conflict of emotions, Basil being conflicted about being happy about Ratigan being back and wanting to defeat him again. Repression of feelings and being in denial of how much the other means to them is something I’d like explored in the dynamic, and if you can find a way of getting them together in the end, that’d be awesome! Maybe Ratigan’s plan is overshadowed by this whole other villain, and Basil Ratigan have to become reluctant allies in the end, which brings them together. Or maybe Ratigan’s plan gets WAY out of hand, and it puts him in danger, and Basil saves him.
I've read a lot of meta recently describing Basil and Ratigan as scornful exes which I think matches their dynamic really well. Maybe they were ex-lovers in the past and that's why they're so obsessed/hate one another? Either way, enemies-to-lovers or rivals-to-lovers are the kind of dynamic I like for this particular pairing.

I love domestic stuff with Holmes and Watson, first and foremost! All the little moments of their day-to-day life: grumpy breakfasts; spring cleaning with Holmes ferociously defending the creative mess that is his room; their London walks and visits to the theater and opera; the little routines and how well they know each other's. Sickfics and hurt/comfort fics also appreciated.
I project my aroaceness onto Holmes a lot, so it would be great to see that😄 Big fan of transmasculine headcanons and readings, too - trans!Holmes is a popular one in fanfiction, but I think there's potential in trans Watson and even trans Mycroft. Holmes can be nonbinary, as well - personally I think he's a bit above gender :D
If you're a His Dark Materials fan - I'd love love love to see some daemon stuff😄 Personally, Tumblr has sold me on Holmes and Watson's daemons as "nervous cheetah and his emotional support golden retriever", but I've seen other takes and they're also very good.

I love works about Sherlock’s drug addiction, angst and whump. Sherlock’s mind and how he came to be how he is, his drug use. John could help Sherlock to deal with his problems, maybe help him to face his demons or go to rehab. Or a college Sherlock AU dealing with those things. Not a fan of Eurus or series 4, so maybe an alternative to that.
DO NOT WANT: noncon, dubcon, sexual violence, SA, prostitution, animal abuse etc or mentions of such things at all.
I don’t want Sherlock to be in any other relationships other than with John, and no mention of previous relationships of Sherlock other than with John.
I prefer ace/demisexual Sherlock only with John, and if it’s a relationship fic then that John is his first relationship/romantic interest.
