I LOVE period- and stylistically- appropriate music, theatre, literature, and art in fic but am also highly tuned to inaccuracies, and I personally loathe the musical Rent and classical-crossover music. I also love disguises, magical realism, science fiction, fantasy, suspense, supernatural elements, folklore, farce, tragedy, and happy, hopeful or at least bittersweet endings.

I CANNOT STAND marriage law and other formulaic/coercive romance tropes, Mary-bashing, onscreen cruelty to animals (I haven't read A Study in Scarlet for years for this reason), smoking/drug use portrayed in a sexy way (both are canon, so their inclusion is fine) and am averse to excretory kink.

My one preference to rule them all is that you have fun with whatever you're making for me, even if it includes things I don't normally seek out.

Special requests: While I'm game to write smut, plotty romance is more my jam, so I'd appreciate writing for someone who isn't just looking for PWP.
