I love angst but need myself a happy ending. Particular triggers include non-con/dub-con, and I’m also not a fan of much pain in my smut; otherwise just stick to the list above. I’m a huge fan of ‘stereotypical’ masculinity being challenged. You can always include some mild internalized homophobia, or reluctance to do certain acts with another man (and subsequent lack of reluctance). I don’t even need my fic to be NC-17 if there’s a good emotional build-up and plot that peaks in some sort of release (just a kiss would be fine). **Basically I’m a fan of Victorian morals and repression and gradual emotional overcoming of this.** --> no crying/emo though please.

If you want to go into the category of ’09 smut (you don’t have to!), then I must say I have been craving me some first time bottom!Law!Watson, who has never gone beyond handjobs/blowjobs with Holmes (I’d rather Holmes had never done this before despite still being confident, or having done it rarely a good while ago) and is particularly reluctant at first. Of course he would soon get over this and get quite enthusiastic about it. (Please though, I don't like Holmes or Watson being wimps.)

This is just one idea, but please, if you’re going to write bondage or D/s, I’d really prefer Watson to be the one tied up or submissive. Sex without roles or kinks is love also, especially if it’s just some bottom!Watson vanilla.
