Just no permanent breakage/betrayal (death is okay, even if one gets left behind, as long as I have the hope they'll be together again in some sort of afterward) and no mean-just-to-be-mean!Sherlock (unless he's a serial killer or psychopath, but then there'd be a reason) or really-too-obtuse-to-be-a-soldier-or-doctor!John, thank you kindly. Mycroft being nosy is perfectly acceptable, of course. ;-)

Bonus points for gentle falling in love (only if it fits the story, though) with pining and hand-holding and a degree of mutual possessiveness...? And kissing. Kissing is good. Anything beyond that is like chocolate sauce and whipped cream... asking for it would be greedy, but it would be oh so tasty and delicious!
