Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: Some ideas for you, in no particular order: I love works that focus on minor characters, especially marginalized characters (fix-its are cool!). I love marginalized authors projecting onto their characters. I love fics that rework or use elements of beloved Canon stories to create something new and different. I love unconventional relationships and atypical minds. I love elaborate misunderstandings, ridiculous communication failures, and painful secrets. I love romances where the characters are slowly falling in love, realizing they're in love, and getting together. I love characters switching accents and languages, especially to hide behind the language barrier (TV Tropes page), although do please write dialect & accents in a respectful way. I love works that incorporate real-life history. I love f/f. I love works that focus on the cultural/racial identity of a character of color (racebending is fine!). I love vibrant, colorful paintings. I love folk music and oldies and slow songs that tell a story. I love Watson and Holmes being endlessly enchanted by each others' quirks and skills. I happen to think the song "Time After Time" fits Holmes and Watson's relationship really well. I love ACD!Holmes's skill with disguises. I love character art. I love watercolor and soft focus. I love unreliable narrator. I am unreasonably attached to the idea that Charlotte Holmes is Asian. I love that humorous writing style where the whole fic, or most of the fic, is paperwork (example). I love all kinds of POV. I love works that incorporate the writing style, fashion, and deeply conformist society of the Victorian &/or Edwardian Eras, although by all means feel free to write anachronistically or in a different era. I am a hopeless romantic. I love a happy ending.
