This is very sweet, and I like that Watson has his window open!

This is so beautiful! It's tender and loving, and I love all the little details. The lace curtain is amazing.

Gorgeous. Love the curtain gently trying to cover the scarred back, like Watson's hand telling him he's home.

The soft lighting, those simple but gorgeous colours, the tenderness in Watson's touch (I ADORE the way your drew his hand), the detail on the lace curtains. Beautiful! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I couldn't possibly say it enough.

A beautiful scene of togetherness. The billowing curtains remind me of a wedding veil.

I love how you played with light and texture to make this scene almost dream-like, really gorgeous and full of tenderness!

This is just so touchingly tender all around. Others have commented on the curtain, which is beautiful (almost like a bower), but what I'm most struck by is how gently Watson is holding Holmes's waist. I can imagine him almost tracing Holmes's skin: a steadying presence but not a restricting one. It semes a good way to give Holmes a bit of... dignity? separateness?... in this tender moment, but the fact that he is framing Holmes definitely calls to mind images of protector and supporter. It's a fine balance, and his body language really captures that for me.

Also, Holmes's scar, all the way along his back and right over the spinal cord. I very much want to wallop someone on his behalf, but I suspect Watson will be calling first crack at that particular honor, whenever Holmes is ready to be let go for a bit.

Brava, artist, brava!

oh goodness gracious me THIS IS FOR ME??? Others have been faster at articulating much more properly all the delightful details and the mood in this illustration. I just love the movement of that curtain, you can almost feel the warm air caressing them. I adore the colours, the greens and the pinks go so well together. I'm fascinated by the texture of the lines and how you blocked the shadows on the green blanket (I know it's a silly detail to be obsessed with, but what can I say, I LOVE IT!)
And oh Lord, those scars... the one on his spine really draws the eye! Watson's delicate touch conveys so much tenderness, and the way their faces are obscured really makes the whole scene feel intimate and serene. I will treasure this forever, thank you so very much! <3
