DNW: past or future or background Holmes/Watson or other unrequested non-canon background pairings, explicit sex, torture, animal abuse, bdsm AUs, a/b/o AUs. Can I DNW short Lestrades? The 19th century Met had a height requirement.

Preferences: fluff, angst, plot, casefics, loyalty kink, time travel, hurt/comfort, vampires, ghosts, magic AUs, crossovers with other 19th century canons

Going darker than the requested canon is fine, but not full grimdark tortureworld. I'm fine with canon-typical violence, language, and sex, so preferences vary by canon. For example, Fate/GO characters getting trapped in a magic sex dungeon would be typical for that canon, but would be bewildering in an ACD fic. (Fate/GO is on my list just in case someone out there feels like drawing Caster Holmes. Or was he really a Caster? I'm into the Foreigner Holmes and Beast Holmes theories as well.)

In general, I find the mixture of resentment and admiration between Holmes and the Yard interesting, and I prefer characters standing around a body in the rain to staying indoors.
