I will create:
A fanwork of the following type(s): fic, podfic
In one or more of the following parts of fandom: Mary Russell Series; Elementary
For one or more of the following characters or relationships: Sherlock Holmes & Mary Russell; Sherlock Holmes/Mary Russell; Sherlock Holmes & Irene Adler; Sherlock Holmes/Irene Adler; Sherlock Holmes & Joan Watson; Sherlock/Original Characters of Any Gender (Elementary); Gen; Friendship
I like working with one or more of the following categories: Missing Scene; Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence; Hurt/Comfort; During Reichenbach; Friendship; Mental Illness; Angst, Light to Heavy; Reunions; Race Change (to Chinese or Taiwanese); Songfic
With any of the following ratings: suitable for general audiences; mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes
I am willing to create for the following squicks and/or kinks: self-harm; suicide attempt
I want to receive:
A fanwork of the following type(s): fic
In one or more of the following parts of fandom: Canon; Mary Russell Series; Elementary
For one or more of the following characters or relationships: Sherlock Holmes & Mary Russell; Sherlock Holmes/Mary Russell; Sherlock Holmes & Irene Adler; Sherlock Holmes/Irene Adler; Sherlock Holmes & Joan Watson; Sherlock/Original Characters of Any Gender (Elementary); Gen; Friendship
I like stuff in the following categories: Hurt/Comfort; Crossover; Friendship; Case Fic; Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence; Character Study; Missing Scene; Race Change; There's Only One Bed; 5 Times 1 Time
With any of the following ratings: suitable for general audiences; mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes; moderate to explicit depictions of non-sexual mature themes
I wouldn’t mind any of the following squicks and/or kinks: (for each, as an element, not the focal point) alcohol/drug abuse; self-harm; suicide attempt; racism
Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I would love to see a less traditional take on Canon Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler's relationship! It's so commonly portrayed that their relationship becomes romantic, but I don't really see that in "A Scandal in Bohemia" - he just admires her. I don't mind a romantic interpretation (especially if it was explored in the Russell universe), but I'd love to see what you could come up with.
Any fic where Irene, Russell, or Joan completely schools Holmes would be MORE than welcome.
I'm a huge fan of thoughtfully and realistically done race changes. Please only do this if you yourself are a person of color. I'd be very interested in a race-bent Mary Russell and how that would impact her relationship with a white Holmes, as well as how their partnership would be viewed. I also once read a fic about a queer, white-passing, Black Irene Adler, and I loved it.
I haven’t particularly enjoyed Mycroft’s character in any adaptation I’ve read or watched, so please leave him out.
While I do adore Elementary, it’s not what I specifically enjoy reading about these days.
Special requests: None, thank you!
