Watson is my favorite character, and I love seeing his relationship with Holmes portrayed with warmth, mutual respect, and devotion – whether that takes the form of romance, sex, friendship, or anything in between is up to you, I will enjoy any variation you please. I would just ask that you don’t pair them with other people besides each other, as I don’t enjoy imagining that. But I welcome either romantic or gen fic focusing on them, and I particularly enjoy established relationship fic. On the other hand, if you prefer to focus on characters other than Holmes and Watson, feel free to pick your favorites and tell me something about their lives. I’d enjoy that very much!

Regarding my general tastes: I don’t like angst, though if you don't want to write something without tension, I can enjoy subtle conflict, or a work focused on healing/support through a hard time. Generally speaking, though, my preference is for something on the lighter side – romance, humor, domesticity, competent people doing good work together, a person realizing they've grown into themselves and their life, etc.

For Mystery Queen, I adore Yoo Seol Ok and would love gen fic about her and any others in the ensemble that you particularly like! My favorite secondary characters in the series are Inspector Woo and Lieutenant Hong, but I’m happy to read more about anyone in the ensemble. The potential romance between Detective Ha and Yoo Seol Ok didn’t really click with me, but if you like that pairing you can certainly include it (I’d just prefer for that romance not to be the central focus if you make a gift in this verse). In series 2, Inspector Woo mentions that he's queer (at least, he looks at the male Detective Ha and says 'You're not my type, despite my sexual orientation,' which I'm taking to mean that he's gay or bi.) Was he in love with his late police partner? What's it like to have spent more than a decade chasing his killer, to finally succeed, and have to face the complications of closing that long chapter of his life? Any character study about Inspector Woo whether on that topic or any other would be lovely, if you're so inclined.

For Murder By Decree, I love that version of Holmes and Watson (and am especially nostalgic about this verse given Christopher Plummer’s recent passing). But anything delving into Jack the Ripper will almost inevitably get too dark for my tastes -- if you want to write about that Holmes and Watson, maybe you could show them working on some other case, or having a more light-hearted adventure, or explore their relationship, domestic life, or character dynamics, their first meeting, their romance (if they have one), or their retirement...whatever slice of life you like :)

Things I generally love in fic: Banter, tenderness, conversations (epistolary or otherwise), a sense of history between two people, generosity, retirement, wry affection.

For vids, I like all kinds of music and will enjoy anything you create! Holmes/Watson shippiness is always welcome, but I also love vids focused on humor, adventure, or friendship. Go as the spirit moves you!

The same can be said for art, I would welcome anything in my requested verses! (If you are drawing for Granada, I have a preference for Hardwicke's Watson). If you like illustrating fanworks, you are of course very welcome to draw something from one of my fics, but if you prefer creating original compositions, or comics, or scenes from the source material, I’m just as happy with that.

If you would find more verse-specific prompts helpful, just ask the mods to ask me and I'd be happy to send you some optional prompts for any adaptation you may choose to create for, or just tell you some of my favorite things about that verse :) But of course also feel free to do your own thing!

Finally, a quick list of Do Not Wants: please avoid non-con/dub-con, infidelity, sex work/prostitution, dark!fic, the good guys torturing or killing bad guys, abortion or miscarriage, unhappy endings, incest, polyamory, main character deaths.
