I love physical hurt/comfort-- the more whump, the better. I especially like it when the person who is typically the caretaker is the one who gets beaten up. Make them bleed, cry, and (potentially) confess their feelings!
A specific prompt, in case you are having a hard time (you don't have to use this if you have another idea): John and Sherlock are both injured during a case (your choice of type of injury) John hides his injury because they are still in danger and is trying to make sure Sherlock is okay. Cut to the reveal of John slowing down while they are being chased and Sherlock discovers that John's side is covered in blood when John collapses in his arms. Sherlock now needs to get them both to safety and keep John alive until help arrives.
You can go all out with the angst, just be sure it has a happy ending!
Triggers: I have three triggers that I would like to avoid: cancer, Alzheimer's/dementia, and drug addiction. You can mention Sherlock's addiction, but I would appreciate no in depth exploration of it.
