The sign-up template below includes ratings for what you're willing to create and would like to receive. Sexual content is deliberately separated from violence and other mature themes, so if you are someone who enjoys PWP but not violence, you have an easy way of indicating that (or vice versa) for the mods and other Holmestice participants.
The template also includes a list of suggested Holmesian fandoms and iterations. This is not an exhaustive list -- if you have another fandom in mind, please include it in your sign up! Alternatively, if you're open to offering or receiving any Holmesian fandom, please feel free to say so. (Although do make clear what you mean by "any" -- very few people truly can offer every pastiche, film, television, radio, and graphic novel adaptation ever made!)

Special requests: I do not want to see: graphic self-harm/drug use, underage sex, Kitty/Sherlock sex/romance, explicit depictions of rape/nonconsensual sex (e.g. w/ regards to Kitty's backstory). Nor do I want to see any Joan/Mycroft or any Sherlock/Irene/Moriarty except as part of the characters' backstory; I respect other fans' right to ship whoever they want but reading fic for those ships makes me cringe. Also, I normally wouldn't choose to read a heavily procedural fic with very little of the characters I love (that's what the latter seasons of the show gave me, basically), or a heavily fluffy fic with no conflict or emotional stakes, but you may surprise me. Overall I'm a character-based kinda gal, and my #1 pet peeve is OOC behavior or dialogue. That being said, if you put your own spin on the characters in a believable way, I'm sure I'll love it.

Fic: I would like an asexual Sherlock please :-D The rest of the fic can be as dark or fluffy as you like, but an ace Sherlock coming to terms with being ace (and/or other characters like John being involved in reaching that understanding) is the core of my request.

My only hard no's are incest and underage, please don't include those. Other than that, go where your heart takes you! Like I said, I'd prefer at least a hopeful ending, but if you have the perfect idea and it happens to be supernatural horror that ends tragically with everyone dead, do it! That being said: I'd really appreciate a fic where Holmes and Watson aren't cis men (however you'd like to interpret that), and/or where women are central characters with a role in the action. Double points if they're lesbians. I love case fic, but I also like slice-of-life. I also like AU's where the characters have their canon personalities but in settings removed from canon. That being said, I equally enjoy a look at things in canon (especially a good marriage fic)! Whatever you write I will 100% love, my tastes are very broad so don't worry about if I won't like something! Your story also doesn't have to involve Holmes and Watson if you don't want, an exploration of Mary Morstan or any of the women from ACD's canon would be welcome as well! Character studies are just chef's kiss.
But if you don't know where to start, here are some prompts to help, feel free to ignore (or combine) them as you see fit:
-Irene Adler and Sherlock Holmes cross paths again, in the strangest (or most desperate) of situations.
-The law closes in on Holmes and Watson (why? how? you decide!) and they have to find a way out.
-What's Mary Morstan doing while John is off and away? (and with whom!)
-Holmes or Watson ends up transported from the 1890's to the far future, alone. (Or so they think.)
-Holmes and Watson become, literally, immortal. How do they handle it? (case fic might be fun for this one.)
-Sussex fic: Holmes (or Watson) enters a local vegetable growing contest, determined to win by any means necessary. Chaos ensues.
-Enola Holmes: Enola goes to visit her brother Sherlock, and meets John Watson. How does Sherlock explain his and John's relationship?
Special requests: I haven't done this before, but I'm super excited! It's been a long while since I've written fanfic, but I'm a pretty regular non-fic writer, so I'm excited to try this again. I'm also down to write ace/demi Holmes, since I am demi, though it isn't necessarily my first choice. I also don't have much practice writing dark!fic, but I'm willing to give anything my best shot!

I'm really into AU fics, particularly the ones that deal with cat/human hybrids being treated like pets or sex slaves or where one of the boys is an android. Also one of them being homeless, potentially after traumatic experiences is nice. I enjoy mentions of past abuse, one of the boys taking the other lower class one in and helping him gain some self-value. Idk if this makes sense.
