A somewhat short window here (this only crossed my radar just today), but one that I really can't *not* pass along:
Signups for the Unsent Letters Exchange - 1000 words minimum, 500+ words must be in epistolary format - are underway, and open through March 8 (11:59 pm UTC). Which would not be relevant to this gallery in itself - except that four of the fandoms in the tag set are the Enola Holmes books, Anthony Horowitz's Holmes pastiches, Sherlock Holmes Returns (aka 1994 Baker Street, the Anthony Higgins TV movie), and Sherlock Holmes in the 23rd Century (yes, it does say "23rd", and nothing in the message traffic suggests that anyone might have meant anything else).
There's a sticky post at the DW comm with links to the tag set (quite a number of other good choices there, too) and AO3 collection/signup page. I do recommend reading the rules and instructions for this one before actually signing up, as they've done some non-standard things with the tag system, but it looks like a fascinating exchange - and I belatedly note that there are, in fact, one or two other Holmestice regulars among the comm subscribers (if not, as yet, among this year's active players).
I admit that I'm seriously thinking about this one....

Date: 2021-03-05 01:09 am (UTC)So there is.
It took me several circuits of the assorted index pages to work out that there was in fact a bit of membership overlap in play, which made me really curious at first about where the 23CEN request in particular might have come from. You may also appreciate the other side of this coin - namely, that I did not find my way to Unsent Letters via any of my Holmestice compatriots (and I don't remember seeing any announcements for this one via
fandomcalendar).
