Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: As you've probably noted from my above kinks, I really love fic that includes forms of sex other than penetrative anal sex, but you can definitely include anal sex instead or in addition to the forms of sex I listed, if that's your preference. (Or no sex at all is fine, too!) I like good grammar and spelling, happy (or at least hopeful) endings, friendship, family (either biological or chosen), people (not just Sherlock) being smart, people being competent, platonic bedsharing, non-platonic bedsharing, shared showers and other forms of non-sexual intimacy, cooking and/or eating (but no food smut, please), cuddling and/or draping oneself over one's partner, dialogue (but not dialogue-only fic), third person POV, and past tense.

I don't like epithets (e.g. the brunet, the taller man, the detective, the gray-eyed man), and I don't like the phrase "the other man" or "the other" used in scenes in which the characters are quite familiar with each other. Please don't include any unexamined racism or misogyny in my story.

I'm 99% certain that my request has been picked up by a pinchhitter (hello, pinchhitter! thank you for being awesome!), so I thought I'd copy-paste a communication written for my original writer (hello, original writer! I hope everything's okay with you [and that it wasn't my difficult prompts that forced you to drop out, and if they were at fault, I'm really sorry]), in case it helps you, dear pinchhitter. If this additional info doesn't help, please ignore:

Sherlock is a fandom where I really love case fic (which I never write myself, and have no ideas for) and domestic fluff (which I have tons of ideas for). So if you were hoping for plot-heavy prompts, I'm afraid you're on your own. (Sorry!) If you're interested in writing more relationship-centric stuff, though, then I'd love any of the following:

* Coming out fic, whether the character(s) are coming out about their sexuality or their relationship or both. Some specific possibilities: Lestrade coming out to his coworkers (Donovan responds awesomely! Anderson responds less awesomely, but better than Sherlock people expected), John coming out to Harry, Lestrade and/or Sherlock coming out to John, Sherlock coming out to Mycroft. (Mycroft, of course, would have known since before Sherlock did, but Sherlock's coming out could be the necessary prelude to the actual topic of conversation.)

* Moving in together fic. I love seeing how people are forced to change their routines and their usual forms of interaction when they start cohabiting as opposed to simply dating.

* Marriage fic can be fun, if it's kept in character and lightly humorous and not-too-sweet. (Some amount of sweetness is great, but nothing too cloying or schmoopy.)

* Mundane domestic chores done together, either cooperatively or with one person doing all the work and the other observing. Plumbing, fixing the car, upgrading the computer, cooking, etc. Preferably with lots of banter.

* 5x fic. (Though only Five Things that Happened, please; I don't like Five Things that Never Happened.) Five men Lestrade's lived with; five times Lestrade called out "sick" for work; five times Lestrade came in his pants; five times Lestrade one-upped Sherlock; five times Sherlock acted selflessly; etc.

* Elevator fic. Getting trapped in an elevator together leads to makeouts. OR an established couple or threesome is having a disagreement, and getting trapped in an elevator gives them the opportunity to reconcile their differences.

* Lestrade helped Sherlock out when they first met, including letting him crash on his couch for a while and persuading him to eat actual food and encouraging him to cut back on the cocaine, but they don't start dating until years later.

* Post-Reisenbach fic in which the initial impetus for John's and Lestrade's relationship is Sherlock's "death," but in time they become more than simply a comfort to each other. (With the option of John/Lestrade/Sherlock when Sherlock returns.)

* Lestrade's family was French Jews who immigrated to England sometime in the late-19th to mid-20th century. Passover-themed fic would be awesome, or just anything that explores Lestrade's Judaism and how that affects him/his relationships. (Disclaimer: I actually received four stories with this theme for Purim Gifts, but I'm always up for more Jewish!Lestrade fic.)
