If you want to take part in the exchange (and have a Dreamwidth account), all you have to do is join the Dreamwidth community and create a new post using the template below with your offer and request. The template is designed to be used with the HTML editor (not the Rich Text editor).

The sign-up template below includes ratings for what you're willing to create and would like to receive. I'm looking for some nice, sweet Holmes/Watson, at least with a happy ending. I particularly like established relationships (I'm not so much of a fan of pining). An AU would be interesting, but definitely not necessary (maybe something fantastical, or otherwise not mundane). I'm not sure if this goes without saying (I suppose it depends on the fandom?) but I prefer if everyone is as in character as possible, otherwise it kind of takes me out of it.
Special requests: This is the to give the mods an idea of what you'd like us to take into consideration when we match you with your recipient, e. g. "While I don't mind dark!fic, I've done that the last two times around, so if at all possible, give me something cheerful?" We're not promising that every match will be perfect, but we do try.

I’m a big sucker for hurt/comfort and domestic settings.
This goes for both writer or visual artist, but I would love to see a frustrated Holmes comforted by Watson, maybe while Holmes is waiting for news from a case development, or he’s wounded and Watson urges him to rest. The words “You can’t keep doing this to yourself, you’re not infallible...” come to mind. Established romantic relationship or first time love confession, your choice. Please ABSOLUTELY NO emotional or mental manipulation (outside of what would be considered canon levels) or gaslighting.
My favourite Holmes(s) are Brett and Clive Merrison and my Watsons are Hardwicke and Michael Williams, in case it helps!
Special requests: I’m ok with violence and wounds but I would prefer not to get a prompt with gore, vomit or eye trauma. Emotional manipulation/gaslighting are a big NO too.
