You MUST respond to your match email to confirm you received, otherwise we assume you've ghosted us and we'll take appropriate measures (re-assign your match to one of our pinch hitters). Please respond as soon as possible.

Your match email contains information about submission, but we will also post as we get close to the deadline. In the next day or so we'll also put up posts asking for beta and pinch-hit volunteers -- please keep an eye out for them.

Submitting a header when you are writing for a mod

Is there a way to do this and have it still be a surprise if we have someone who is a mod we are writing for?

Hello! If you wish to keep your gift to a mod a surprise until the last possible minute:

1. Do not post to AO3. Format your submission to be posted to Dreamwidth, i.e., use the "submit by email" instructions, as opposed to the "submit to AO3" instructions. (Basically, AO3 will blab all your secrets to the mod you're trying to keep secrets from. So don't post to AO3 yet!)

2. Contact either colebaltblue or sanguinity, whichever mod you're not creating for, and submit by email directly to them, work and header both. They'll update the necessary in-house records to show that you're not in default, gift has been received, everything is a-okay.

3. We'll position the gift in the posting schedule so that your conspirator will be the one to post the gift: recipient-mod will see neither the gift nor the header until it goes live. Hurrah, surprise accomplished!

4. Once the gift is posted, you may post to AO3 if you wish, and we'll link it from the Dreamwidth post as per usual.
