Almost everything I can conceive prompt-wise, I'd be equally happy to see interpreted in the canonverse, BBC, or a AU-space. For AUs, I am very down with what the fanfic trope sorter characterizes as "Unusually specific occupation AUs, like, the author clearly has the same job." The weirder/more removed from canon, the better!

-I love fic that chooses a specific type of weirdness that a character has, and then follows it to its logical conclusion. Stuff like: what does it really mean when we say that Sherlock has trouble eating or sleeping on a regular schedule? What are the real consequences of that? if we accept the premise that John has anger issues, what is it like to actually be in a functioning relationship with him?

-I love BDSM and other fic that deals with consensual power exchanges. It doesn't even need to be sexual, necessarily, although I love PWPs, but expressing love and trust through the physical body? Always good stuff.

-I love fic that explores interests that Sherlock and John have outside of each other, and how your interests outside of your partner affect what you bring to your relationship. How does Sherlock relate to his identity as a musician? As a scientist with discoveries and publications to his name? Who is he and what does he represent to the Irregulars/Homeless Network? How does John manage his significant writing career, and what is the impact of his writing on their relationship? Being watched by the public does change things, after all, especially when the one doing the watching is on the inside of the relationship.

-Speaking of: I LOVE "Watson lies" stories. Any canon case, anything from John's blog or even that we see onscreen that you want to interpret through the lens of "this is the way John Watson told it, but now we'll learn what really happened" is great. (Extra points if it's Sherlock setting the record straight.)

-I like vampires a lot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyone can just casually be a vampire, and I won't question it.

My only weird squick-- not really squick, even, just opposite-of-a-preference-- is that canonverse stories told in the third person always strike me as odd and off-putting. Something about having someone involved in the action narrating it just makes much more sense to me. (Usually Holmes or Watson, of course, but-- ooh, a Lestrade/other Yarder-POV story? That would be fascinating!)

Special requests: I've tried to put as much detail and specific prompts as I can think of in here, and if possible I'd like to be paired with someone who has done the same! The wide-open ones make me nervous ;)
