This is a stroke of genius, indeed!

As someone who's very familiar with the format (I might have read aloud the opener in its original pronounciation... what should I say? I'm a fan ^^): this is so spot-on.

I love the silliness and sincerity, the queerness in all the meanings of the word, the attention for detail regarding canon as well as Victoriana, the celebration of alll the little elements "The Newly..." is famous for (break of 4th wall, the songs, the word plays and (BAD) puns...).

The stab at BBC SHERLOCK (nope, didn't go unnoticed). The paragraph about fanfiction and "E" rating (is this about a post of mime I did once, btw?). And... did I detect a tiny nod to peepolykus!Holmes?
