Date: 2018-12-01 05:04 pm (UTC)Well done! You captured the flavor and style of ACD and the personalities of our two heroes. Nice work in seamlessly fitting your tale into the canon. It was fun, engrossing and very clever. The translation of Holmes conversation with Fabron was particularly clever and entertaining - his refusal to wear Watson's clothes because of their English style was classic! His attitude was unmistakenly French! Watson's discovery of the handkerchief and his reaction was really well written and was on point: terrific dialogue in that scene! Thank you for taking the time to create such a lovely tale, for your attentiveness to my preferences, and your stylistic homage to ACD. I am sure that the other members of our little community will enjoy your story as much as I did! Bravo!
