Things I love in canon fic:

• historical detail (also, cameos by famous authors or musicians of the time would be fun).
• violin stuff. I love Holmes being a nerd about the violin. Him being a nerd about Paganini would be a huge plus.
• first forays into the underground queer culture of the era (would be interesting to have a fic about Watson quietly exploring his bisexuality/homosexuality [however the author would like to portray him] at his club or somewhere very "homosocial" and later on bringing Holmes along).

Things I love in BBC fic:

• pining!Sherlock
• John displaying All the Machismo while struggling with his identity internally.
• Sherlock and John emotionally distancing themselves.
• side characters: Mr and Mrs Holmes, Janine, Harry, Billy, Rosie (would be great to see any of these characters [might be a wee bit difficult for Rosie] trying to help Sherlock and/or John with their complicated feelings for each other).
• post-S4 plot with no mention of Eurus or Moriarty.

Prompt ideas that could be applied to either ‘verse:

• SH embracing his more feminine side or being more gender fluid.
• Infiltration of some kind of cult.
• Disguised as musicians. Disguised as anything, really.
• Past lovers turning up out of the blue and causing a rift or jealousy between SH and JW.
• Crossover idea: I read a Jeeves/Wooster and Holmes/Watson fic once (in canon setting)--it was so good. Would be great to see them again in canon setting or re-imagined for the modern era. (Also open to other literary duos [Raffles and Bunny?] showing up in canon setting or modern day.)

 

Special requests: While I’m fairly open to writing any kind of fic, it would be great to be paired with someone who has more detail than not re: what they want to see in their fic; the more direction the merrier. I’d also be happy to create a BBC vid. Thank you, mods! (And thank you, anon author!)
