ACD Canon: Some Watson/Morstan slice-of-life fic when he's not working on a case with Holmes.

Elementary:
An AU where there actually was an Irene Adler, and her identity was (at some point) stolen by Jamie Moriarty. Who was she? What happened to her? Is she even still alive? (Probably the only scenario where I'd accept a major character death ending.)

Why Joan loves red cardigans as housecoats.

MDBD: I would be happy with almost anything, tbh.

W&H:
Origin story for Holmes and Lt. Stroud, and how they deal with how their various identities collide -- Holmes being a Black man with a permanent target on his back because of his Blackness and a distrust of the police state; Stroud being a white woman who represents what Holmes loathes and yet having to deal with structural, institutional sexism.

Backstory for Jon and Marie. We see her only once, and it seems like they're estranged? Surely it wasn't always like this.

Some father/son time between Jon and Omare.

Holmes at college/university. Who was his Victor Trevor?

221B:
I like the idea of Watson originally being from Afghanistan, either as an asylum seeker or immigrant. I'd like to see that complicated further: Watson as a transgender, genderfluid, or gender-non-conforming person who is not recognized as a doctor because of his/her/their/hir/zir multi-faceted identity. Alternatively, I like the idea of Watson as a Black transgender woman or non-binary person, or a Black genderqueer person, who is a doctor subjected to a lot of bigoted nonsense. I imagine that, as in the US, Black trans people (esp Black trans women) in Britain are also rendered invisible and subjected to multiple forms of bigotry.

Another thing I'd like would be something centered around Irene Adler, based on this idea by rebeccabuck, perhaps even afrogeekgoddess' suggestion of Irene being Holmes' go-to for All The Secrets. (Maybe a combo of both?) AND WITH ZERO CONNECTION TO MORIARTY.

For either W&H or 221B: If you write something Irene-centric, I'd love to see something playing with ACD canon's idea of her going out in "men's" clothes. Does a modern Irene see a more femme presentation as a performance, reserved for when Irene wants to present that way/when on-stage and is a more butch presentation closer to Irene's true self?

Crossover: I'd love to see an Ele/W&H/221B crossover. Only one white Holmes? Having to work with two Black Holmeses as well as three Watsons of colour? Or! A three-way Holmes swap with these 'verses.

Special requests:
I have not seen past Elementary season 4 (aside from the episodes with Detective Gina Cortes), so would rather write or receive stuff set past that point.

Also! I am not adverse to writing or receiving fics with a Holiday theme. (Writing-wise, I'm more comfortable writing Christmas-themed stuff, religious or non-religious.)
