Canon and BBC: I think I like pretty much the same things in both of these, so I’ll just lump them together! (Actually, one of the things that’s been preoccupying me lately is “what would this super common BBC trope look like in canon?” and vice versa, so if there’s a trope you love in one that isn’t seen often in the other, I would love to see you try to fit it in!)

Things I like Holmes/Watson-wise:

-Parentlock and other domestic fic that answers the question of how these two madmen actually function day-to-day.
-Each of them developing their identities outside of each other. Watson is a very successful writer-- how does he manage his career? God, how does that dude manage to be a doctor, a writer and a detective? How are there even enough hours in the day???
-Well, I’d never say no to a PWP, either. Things I like in sex: Either one getting extremely possessive. Bondage. I have a particular weakness for the trope where Sherlock needs painplay to ~shut off his brain~, there is never enough of that fic in the world. (And there’s a lot of it.)
-Related, lately I’ve been really wanting more non-sexual, non-punitive pain play. Like… Sherlock (I mostly see this as Sherlock’s domain, but feel free to convince me otherwise!) just likes being hit because hitting feels nice to him. *melts*

Besides the H/W relationship, I love the idea of John and Lestrade having a weird but close friendship, either based on their both dealing with Sherlock in different ways, or if you’re also down with Mystrade, then as brothers-in-law sharing hilarious stories and advice about their respective Holmeses.

My take on Sherlock and Mycroft’s relationship is that they care so deeply about each other that they have absolutely no idea how to successfully interact with each other. I love fic where they love each other, and every fuckup between them is because of that.

W/r/t some of the most contentious BBC preferences people have…
- S4: I’m easy either way if you want to reference it, or pretend it didn’t happen.
- I like Mary; if you love her evil then I’d love to read her evil, but if you don’t like her, I’d rather she not be there than be a baddie just to spite the character.
- If you’re writing sex, I guess I have a slight preference for a Sherlock who enjoys submission… but I am also open to any interpretations and arrangements of preferences, limbs, or genitalia. Truly not picky on that front, so long as they’re having fun.

Elementary: Okay, so… I just started watching Elementary. I am in season 1, and I am IN LOVE with these two. But I also don’t watch tv very fast, so I can’t really just jump into reading whatever I want at this point! Sooooo… if anyone has a hankering to time-travel back to 2012, and write me some Elementary fic that’s non-spoilery for anything beyond… probably season 2, since this comes out in December? That would be amazing! Basically where I’m at with it at the moment is that I’m not going to get a little thing like heterosexuality get in the way of Holmes and Watson being together, and Elementary!Sherlock is just the sweetest creature on the planet and I want Joan to protect him and cuddle him and cherish him forever, and… um, so yeah, fluff, I guess, is the technical name for that. Yep. (And everything I said re. sex in other versions goes for Elementary, too!)

Special requests: I’ve only just discovered the 221b Towers ‘verse and have a few specific things I’d be interested in writing there, so if someone has very specific requests in that ‘verse, maybe not for me. For BBC and canon, if there are any requests to do with music that’s my jam, as well as any athletic plotlines or sports AUs!
