If you want to take part in the exchange (and have a Dreamwidth account), all you have to do is join the Dreamwidth community and create a new post using the template below with your offer and request. The template is designed to be used with the HTML editor (not the Rich Text editor).

The sign-up template below includes ratings for what you're willing to create and would like to receive. Sexual content is deliberately separated from violence and other mature themes, so if you are someone who enjoys PWP but not violence, you have an easy way of indicating that (or vice versa) for the mods and other Holmestice participants.

Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: Maybe have a look at my favorite Elementary fics to get an idea? (https://archiveofourown.org/users/disheveledcurls/bookmarks) I guess I'd warn that I normally wouldn't like a heavily procedural fic with very little of the characters I love --i.e., the show in its current state--, or a heavily fluffy fic with no conflict or emotional stakes, but you may surprise me. Overall I'm a character-based kinda gal, and my #1 pet peeve is OOC behavior or dialogue. That being said, if you put your own spin on the characters in a believable way, I'm sure I'll love it.
Special requests: I can't think of too many specifics right now... maybe a cheerful future-fic resolution of the s6 finale? I'm pretty flexible.

Date: 2018-09-24 09:32 pm (UTC)The films you're talking about -- Victoria Falls and Leading Lady -- are often referred to just by name, or as the Christopher Lee films, or as the "Golden Years" films; you can call them any of those things in a sign-up and we'll know what you mean. To my knowledge, Granada television had no part in their production.

I have not seen that one in *ages*, but I remember finding it highly amusing and yet surprisingly watchable -- one of those things that really shouldn't work but somehow does.
