Date: 2018-06-10 04:33 pm (UTC)I am grinning so much. I keep seeing new bits but my very favourite part is Hound eating the ginormous sandwich in one go and then we see Watson with a stunned expression on his face ^____^
Other bits that I particularly enjoyed:
I love the opening sequence of Hound living on his own and then the first smile when he sees Watson's fine form walking up the gangway.
Hound’s wink before Watson jumps out of the car.
Hound's ears pricking up in the boat.
That little half smile from Hound when Watson almost falls over when he’s sleeping sitting up.
Pulling on the cord to start the boat’s motor for “waiting for, for, for” and then the the propeller going round for “explode, explode, explode”.
Watson in the plane holding onto--chooses words carefully in this context--a spherical object for “Can you handle the curves?”
And that end scene of course--the sound effects in the song matching up so neatly to what’s happening on screen.

I am speechless. That was just an absolute DELIGHT and so skillfully crafted, I am in awe. The humor and sweetness shine out through the whole vid, every edit is thoughtful rather than "filler," and the visual double entendres are so winning! I mean, 'a whole lot of boom in the back' !?!?! I keeled over!
Also, like SCFrankles, I was so charmed by Hound's smiles when he looks at Watson, and that little shot of his ears flicking up on alert. <3 <3
I'm sure this took a ridiculous amount of time and effort, but *damn* it's a fantastic final product. Thank you for creating this ray of sunshine!

Ah, of course.

Date: 2018-06-11 12:45 pm (UTC)I ADORE Sherlock Hound, and I’ve always loved the chase scenes. They are explosive, dynamic, and this upbeat song fits them perfectly. It even adds that extra kick to the scenes. I don’t think I’ll be able to see another Hound chase scene without that song playing in my head XD
The editing is amazing. I love the progression from bored!Hound to excited!Hound (if you know what I mean) after meeting Watson. The scenes where Hound and Watson giving admiring glances at each other made me giggle like mad!
Exhibit A-B:
The way you cut the scenes matches the dynamic feel of the song. This video really gives an uplifting mood, with a hint of sexiness, and makes me want to do active stuff!
I also enjoyed the part where there was a lull in the song, and Hound was fixing the car while Watson supervises. It was a relaxing scene and gives a nice short break from all the tension.
My favorite scene:
XD
I especially love the scenes where the song hit a sudden pause, before continued to pick up the pace. Very exciting!
And same with Rachelindeed, all the double entendres from the song paired with the visual are killing me XD
Thanks again! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this. I really, really love the video! x
