Anything character-driven! I enjoy complex characters dealing with internal conflicts and minor characters fleshed out and granted a measure of dignity and interiority. I tend to like romances that deal with larger issues of gender, patriarchy, and/or queerness as well as the specific personalities and situations of the couple involved.

I also enjoy politics in fic--if that kind of thing seems interesting to you.

I've always loved the sense of place in canon and in adaptations and would be excited to see a vividly sketched location--the flat, Baker Street, Speedy's, the Diogenes Club, London or New York or places visited while on a case--if anything along those lines strikes your fancy.

Please no A/B/O. I'm also a little wary of Euros and the final episode of the fourth season of BBC Sherlock. In an ideal universe, we'd somehow get to the end of the series without stereotypically crazy women and wanton killing.

I'm also sadly R-rated--I *do* love to see my characters having sex, I just don't want to know too much about it (i.e., nothing too explicit, unless it's an integral part of the story).

Special requests: I didn't eliminate either the romantic or case fic categories, but I tend to write character studies with a helping of romance or plot. If anyone seems amenable to that type of fic, I'd love to write for them.
