I love clever cases just as well as fluffy romance or hot PWP. Any rating is fine with me. Not surprisingly, I love competent characters and clever deductions. For romance I like that Holmes in most canons is someone who rationalizes his own needs. I like unlikely scenes of domesticity. Hurt/Comfort can emphasize the hurt or the comfort part. Angst and bittersweetness are my favorites, but I also love well earned happiness.

I love everything that explores themes of worthy adversaries, pining for each other from afar - coming together but also still working against each other or for a time working together and building a complicated back and forth around that. I love relationships between equals. For the Holmes/Moriarty I’m also okay with dub-con and evil manipulation getting one what they want.

People understanding each other without words, or dazzling each other with their smarts is always fun.

Holmes being the one impressed with other people’s skills. (If he wants to impress them right back to up the game, that's just a plus. XD)

Misunderstandings being resolved.

I recently read the Betrayal in Blood pastiche by Mark A. Latham and really like this reinterpretation of a well known mystery, now solved by Holmes himself. So if you can think of something like some crossover like that, I’d probably love it for any of the Holmes-y canons.

For Exit Sherlock Holmes especially I’d love some backstory for Holmes and Moriarty and some world building on the future they came from. Also, how reliable is anything that Holmes told Watson about it/Watson thought he heard there?

For A Study in Emerald I’d really like to see the Holmes side of that story. It’s such a different world. So what drives Holmes there and what does it mean that he’s on the other side of the law there - and what does that even mean for him and the other characters of Holmes canon? Any world building would be absolutely welcome.

I love podfic and I love fanart. I only have written one fic for Holmes so far so if you want to podfic or illustrate that, go for it, but if you can think of a story that fits my likes above and you want to rather podfic/illustrate that, I’d not say no.
