Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: For BBC Sherlock: I'm very interested in the aftermath of S4 -- although I've written two fics dealing with it, and have more cooking, I would love to find out what others imagine, for any of the series characters. Or! I would be flattered and thrilled beyond description if someone wanted to remix my "The Thing Which I Greatly Feared" or "Negative Capability." Wow, I got excited even thinking of that.

And. Whatever became of Anthea? How did Sherlock ensure Mr. Hudson's death? What was Uncle Rudi like? Did Mrs. Hudson ever meet Irene Adler?

For ACD Holmes, I'm a total cliche: give me all the internalized homophobia and mutually requited pining. I also enjoy stories that engage with the events and social problems of the day.

For both: I'm also happy with AUs, backstories, retellings of myths and fairytales, straight-up porn, explorations of minor characters ... if you enjoy writing it, it's a good bet I'll enjoy reading it. Well, I do have some DNWs, below.

Special requests: I've written a fair bit of humorous BBC Sherlock fic (or at least I thought it was humorous) but S4 seems to have knocked out my funnybone. I would be delighted to try to write something fun for my recipient, but it would probably help me in that case to get a fairly specific prompt. I'm also happy to try to fulfill my recipient's specific prompts of any sort, subject to my DNWs.

Some things I can't do / don't enjoy: death or permanent parting/alienation between John and Sherlock / Holmes and Watson -- they can hurt each other, break up, or cheat on each other, but please fix it by the end!; ageplay; genderswap/sexswap; Omegaverse; pregnancy & childbirth; apocafic; asexuality; polyamorous relationships; fics in which any of the principal characters, canonical villains excepted, turn out to be evil.
I'm perfectly happy to write Holmes & Watson (i.e., not slash) if my recipient prefers it. OTOH, if you're my writer and JW/SH isn't your thing, by all means ignore those two entirely and write about other characters instead. :^)
