Gen tropes I love: Loyalty kink, long (complicated) histories, casual physical intimacy, gen kink, casefic/mysteries, shared secrets, hurt/comfort (that doesn’t slide into whump), travel themes (road trips, stranded somewhere, airport lounges, hotels). Common slash tropes reimagined platonically.

23C: Past Holmes/Watson is welcome; for Holmes/Wt'sn I'm easy and don't have anything beyond the laundry lists above; for Mycroft/Lestrade I would love some SF world-building and/or some musings on family legacies; for both pairings I am also happy with gen with a strong emotional component.

1994 Baker Street/Sherlock Holmes Returns: I would love fic exploring how very Watson-like Amy Winslow’s backstory is, either straight-up or Holmes’s thoughts on the matter (possibly tying in to his expression of faith/a higher power?). Would also love backstory for the Hudsons, what it was like caring for that house all those years, particularly after discovering Holmes’s cryochamber.

Others: I would also love a fic about a wrong-Holmes – there are many canons where Holmes is transplanted in time and finds a new Watson (see: 23C and 1994 Baker St.); this leads to the impression that Watsons are replaceable but Holmes is singular. I’d love to see this subverted and/or reversed, a fic in which Watson (who is just as singular) is the one transplanted who has to deal with a new (and subtly wrong) Holmes. There are canons with more unique Watsons that might lend themselves to this fairly naturally (Without a Clue and My Dearly Beloved Detective); I would also welcome an ACD/Granada/Ritchie-verse/Elementary AU fic for this prompt.

Special requests: I am not a good match for someone who wants longfic or something heavily plot-focused.
