A lot of great books came out in the past couple of months, which is why they're the highlight of my Holmestice request this round!

A Study in Charlotte: I adored the world the author created. I would love to see more about what it means to be a Holmes or a Watson in a world where everyone knows about your ancestors and has Expectations. A nice contrast between the training and expectations of a Holmes, perhaps, to that of a Watson. I would love to see various Holmes and Watson partnerships over the years. I am especially in love with seeing the friendship/relationship between Leander Holmes and Jamie's dad (whose name I cannot recall)-- how exactly did that list come about? What were the circumstances that set off each one of those numbered items? I would also love to see Jamie meeting the extended Holmes clan, or a look at the relationship between Charlotte and Milo. I have absolutely no interest, however, in an exploration of what exactly happened with Charlotte and Moriarty. Please avoid that.

The House at Baker Street: I am aware that I'm likely the only one in this comm who has read this. EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK. It's amazing, and this is primarily just a request so that other people go read it and can write it next time. As for specifics, should someone come out of the woodwork: I want more. I just... I want more. I want to see another case that Ms. Hudson and Mary Watson take on. I want to see how Irene Adler becomes more a part of their detective group. I am especially entranced by the fact that, in this series, we ALREADY KNOW THE END, because it's hinted throughout and of course we know canon-- but we don't know how exactly it comes about. I WANT THAT. What does John think about Mary's work, does he ever find out about what went on towards the end of the first book? Do Holmes and Mary ever discuss it? I would love to see more about Mary and Irene in particular, Mary going to Irene to learn from her. Or more about the relationship between Wiggins and Billy! Tell me about their friendship!

Watson at War series: Would love a fix-it fic for Mrs. Gregson.

Mary Russell series: Nothing in particular. Would love more of Mary interacting with the women she meets, especially Iris.

Mycroft Holmes: I would love to see Douglas meeting Watson, years down the line, and his thoughts on the matter. I would also enjoy Douglas' reaction to Mycroft joining the Diogenes, or Douglas meeting the younger Holmes shortly after this first book. Basically, I want lots of Douglas. All the Douglas. If you're an artist, I'd love to see a rendering of Douglas, but please, no whitewashing.

Enola series: How does Enola deal with Reichenbach? Is she in the know, or kept in the dark? Also would love shipfic for Enola/Cecily.

Elementary: Elementary is always good, if my weird requests don't suit you. I haven't seen seasons 3 or 4, but I'm well spoiled, so if you write something within those seasons I can keep up. Joan is my queen, so something Joan-centric is ideal. I am good with shippy fic for Elementary. I personally will ship Joanlock till I die, but I also ship Joanbell and Joantes, Joan/Ms Hudson... really anything. My exceptions are that I do not ship Joancroft or Joaniarty. General guideline when it comes to shipperfic is that I prefer romance over sex. If you're a vidder, I'd love a vid that incorporates footage from all four seasons (it's somewhat rare to see anything past S1), and maybe something about Joan and her journey over the course of the series? Alternatively, maybe something about all the Irregulars, both official and not? They have quite a network of people that they consult, it would be cool to see them have their day in the sun. If you're an artist, a scene from one of my stories would be cool (language_escapes at AO3); the same with podfic, though with podfic there is a list of stories outside of my own that I'd be interesting in hearing, and can provide that information if needed.

1954 Sherlock Holmes/Howard Holmes: Okay, give me an AU of Baker Street Nursemaids-- what would have happened if they had to keep the baby? How many terrible lullabies can those loveable losers come up with? If you're a vidder, ANYTHING would be awesome, because they never make it to vid! Something schmoopy and cute would be nice, since this is such a domestic little series. I haven't any ideas for artists or podficcers for this series.

My Dearly Beloved Detective: Up to you! Just love this film. Something about Holmes pining after her Watson? If you're an artist, I'd adore seeing more of these two on a case, dressed in drag. No ideas for vidders or podficcers, sadly.

Watson and Holmes: Would love to see more about Violet Smith and Irene Adler, their relationship and friendship. How did Violet find Irene? Are they friends, or are they just teacher/pupil? How do they support each other's careers/hobbies with singing? I'm a singer, so I find this particular relationship very interesting.

Honour Among Punks: The series was never completed... tell me how it ended?

Bert Coules: Your pick! Episode tags are always a plus, especially for the Further Adventures. How does Watson feel about Holmes pulling another Dying Detective/Reichenbach in Marlbourne Point Mystery? Does Holmes visit Collington's Smith grave, from Cripplegate Square, and does he ever "introduce" Smith and Watson?

As for my Do Not Wants, I love female characters so please no bashing. I also like my Watsons competent and a clear partner for Holmes. No Jam!Watson, please. I don't want any of the kinks or squicks, but in particular, please note that I DO NOT like power differentials in relationships, such as teacher/student, boss/worker, etc. Noncon and dubcon are also a no go for me.

Special requests: I recognize that my requests and offers are incredibly hard to match. I'm pretty much up for anything except BBClock, so if you need to, I can be matched with someone that has stuff not on my list. There aren't many adaptations or pastiches that I don't at least have some familiarity with. If you're unsure, feel free to contact me. I'm flexible.
