I will create:
A fanwork of the following type(s): Fic
In one or more of the following parts of fandom: ACD Canon
For one or more of the following relationships: Holmes/Watson slash or gen/friendship.
I like working with one or more of the following categories: Plotty case fics are my favorite to write, but I'm also happy with friendship fics, AUs, hurt/comfort, humor, crossovers, mild fluff, adventure, steampunk elements or horror/supernatural. I can do squinty slash, but romance-centric fics and my muse don't get along so well.
With any of the following ratings: 1) suitable for general audiences, 2) non-explicit sexual content, 4) mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes
I can be very flexible with the issue of ratings, themes and violence, with the sole exception of romance. If the fic calls for violence or discussions/depictions of mature themes, I can be at your service to write it, even if it calls for stepping slightly out of my comfort zone. But for the life of me, I cannot pull off even mildly explicit sex or romantic scenes.
I am willing to create for the following squicks and/or kinks: No kinks, please.
I want to receive:
A fanwork of the following type(s): Fic

For one or more of the following relationships: Holmes/Watson or Gen/friendship.
I like stuff in the following categories: I'm open to most genres - case fics are my favorite, even if the case is in the background or only alluded to. Adventure, supernatural/horror, AU, humor, friendship, crossovers. Slash is also great, but I prefer squinty fics or a background romance in lieu of the romance being at the center of the plot.
With any of the following ratings: 1) suitable for general audiences, 2) non-explicit sexual content, 4) mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes; 5) moderate to explicit graphic violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes
I wouldn’t mind any of the following squicks and/or kinks: No kinks, please.
Please include further details about what you’d like to receive:
My wants are simple - I will be pleased with a fic of any type or genre, just so long as it stays true to the characterizations created by Sir Arthur, and if at all possible, would rather not be paired with an author more familiarized with recent adaptations than canon. I enjoy fics of all varieties, from cases to Victorian stiff-upper-lip confessions (friendship or slash), hurt/comfort, fluff, etc. Anything, really, from traditional to playing with the setting - i.e., alternate universe, (sci-fi) steampunk elements, time travel, Lovecraftian, or supernatural worlds. Other than that, excessively dark or angsty fics, genderswap and femslash are generally not my cup of tea. Permanent (i.e. non Reichenbach related) character death need not apply.
Special requests: I'd rather not receive or write retirement!fic. While I adore it to pieces, and there are too many well done ones to name, I'm just not in a retirement sort of mood at the moment.
