Sorted by category and fandom, you'll find below the cuts all the amazing fanworks created by this year's participants, for your perusal and entertainment and finally, with the names attached. Now comments can be answered and works reposted all over the web, and pimping shall commence far and wide!

Recipients: while it's in no way a rule and requirement to comment on your gift (and most of you have done so already), it's nevertheless highly encouraged. Someone created something especially for you, and the least you can do is say thank-you, even if you yourself had to drop out.

If you haven't added your fanwork to the AO3 collection, and you want to, you can add it here: href="http://archiveofourown.org/collections/HolmesticeSummer2015/profile">Holmestice Exchange - Summer 2015.

And now, without further ado, the Grand Reveal!

Many thanks to everyone who participated! If you see any mistakes or admissions in the master list, please email the mods and we'll get it fixed up ASAP.

We'll be editing the posts now to put all the author/artist and beta information in there as well, but it's going to take some time. Please have a little patience; we'll get there.

I think this came up in another comment thread elsewhere, but [livejournal.com profile] graycardinal doesn't have an underscore. (The AO3 name does, the LJ name doesn't.)

Thank you so much to all the mods for their hard work in hosting this for us! I had a lovely time. :-)

Well caught; thank you! (And I remain highly amused, post-reveal; as it turns out I had my gift-guesses almost exactly backwards....)

I got SO much entertainment from that comment-thread. :-D

But yes, you might want to address that confirmation-bias problem before TNG!Moriarty steps in to take advantage of it. ;-)

Yay! Now I know who to name while I continue to pimp my fic all over the place for the brilliance of it! Thank you so much for running this, Mods!

Also: I just added the first story of horrorfangirl's series to the collection and it's listing me as an Anonymous author and the work as unrevealed, which means it's not showing up on my works page yet on AO3. Is it going to do that for all twenty stories? Because I'm going to post one a day, if I can.

So for some reason the third story I posted this morning is still coming up as Unrevealed and says it's by Anonymous, but I just posted the fourth story early since I don't know if I'll be online in the morning and it seemed to go through just fine without being moderated at all.

It's still coming up as Unrevealed, though it has hits now.

Is everything you posted showing up now? We're trying to figure out these settings and I'm afraid in the shuffle something may have been eaten? Thank you for your patience and we're really sorry it's been such a hassle. I've temorarily turned off moderation for the collection which should help.

Well, the story itself shows up as part of the series, but the third story still says Unrevealed next to it on the series page and the author is still listed as Anonymous, which means the entire series says it's written by Anonymous as opposed to afteriwake. The fourth story posted to AO3 just fine and is part of the collection as well, and I posted that one last night.

Ugh. Ok, I think I see what happened.

I changed the settings to the entire system being revealed and un-anon while three stories were still set to be unrevealed and anon. Doing so removed my ability to reveal and de-anon them. I assumed AO3 would make any unrevealed and anon stories revealed and un-anon when I changed the settings - this was further informed the removal of my ability to do anything about it. Turns out, that's not the case.

I thought they'd been eaten though because I could see them, but I couldn't tell they were still hidden from the challenge on my dashboard and since the settings change meant I lost my ability to do anything about it... well...

Long story short, I fiddled with the settings a bit, got back to a point where I could reveal and de-anon the three stories, and now I've saved that and I'm redoing the settings so that the default is revealed, not anonymous, and not moderated.

Phew.

Again, apologies. And because I've reset everything you shouldn't have any more problems and if you do I'll be very angry at AO3 (although again, it'll probably still be my error, I just won't know that it was my error).

(also, if anyone else is reading this, I have it set to show random works on the front page).

Third story's just fine now! And just to help you out I went ahead and posted the fifth story and it went up with no problems. It's revealed and it's in the collection, so I think it's all working A-OK now!

Which is why we've been getting repeated messages from AO3 these last few days that people have posted "new" works, yes? I was going to bring it to your attention, but it sounds like you've already got it all worked out.

Thanks mods and in particular thank you SO MUCH for running the exchange as the LJ-AO3 hybrid this round. I found it incredibly convenient to post & have access to what I wrote on AO3, and I hope the writers/recipients with work posted in the comm were similarly happy to have that option.

Thank you mods for all your hard work. There were some exceedingly clever stories this round which I very much enjoyed. Looking forward to the next time.
