Awesome! Your video editing is gorgeous - and so smooth! I love the way you incorporated the lyrics, both for the fact that you did so and how seamlessly you integrated them into the scenes. I particularly enjoyed the 'guns under our petticoats' iteration with him holding open his jacket.

This is wonderful. The edits, the beat, their expressions, together with the text unfolding onscreen really draw you in to this portrayal of Holmes and Watson.

Wow lovely! I especially love how you end it with the fireplace scene, keeping the tradition alive :) I'll definitely be back with loads of questions after the grand reveal!

beautiful composition, perfect lyrics, and overall charming portrayal of the friendship. And thanks for collecting all the journaling bits at the start; I do so love the handwriting and sketches by fountain pen.

Oh, this is wonderful! There is a dearth of excellent New Russian Holmes vids out there, and I'm so glad to see one, especially one as lovely as this! I adore the incorporation of the lyrics into the vid throughout, and the textures were so cool. And, of course, the narrative of friendship was... UGH SO GOOD. This is such a brilliant vid, I love it so much, thank you for taking the time to make it! (SOMEONE MADE A VID FOR ME. A NEW RUSSIAN HOLMES VID. EEEEEEEEEEE!)

This is a really sweet look at their friendship, and I'm not as familiar with the Russian Holmes series as I'd like to be so it's nice to see their clips used to keep the grand tradition of Holmes and Watson alive and well.

This is lovely! I'm not at all familiar with the Russin show, but the way you edited it to fit the music so well - I could get a real feel for it. Nicely done.

I love this. I didn't say anything when it first went up -- I also offered to vid NRH, and was trying to preserve some shred of anonymity from [livejournal.com profile] k_e_p about what I did make -- but when it posted I had to run around and squeal a bit before I could settle down to watch it.

And I have watched it many times since. :-) I especially like Watson's montage about thinking -- that is one of the things that I love about this Watson, that he spends lots of time watching and thinking about what he's looking at, it's beautiful. (That moment in the pilot where, after watching Holmes and watching Lestrade, and understanding what's about to go down, and that justice will not be served, he decides to perjure himself? It's a beautiful moment, and I love that you gave it such a strong shout-out here. And similarly with guns under petticoats, and many other things.

Thank you so much for making this for [livejournal.com profile] k_e_p, and sharing it with all of us!
