I generally prefer HEA or HFN endings. I adore first-time fics and comfy established relationship stories. I love yearning and wanting and eventually getting the guy. Awkward first times make me happy. I enjoy it very much when penetrative sex isn't considered the be-all-end-all of sexual interaction. Well-applied creativity wins a lot of points with me, whether in the bedroom or with regards to setting. Crossovers and fairy tale/mythology/magical realism stories are love. I have a soft spot for dual Victorian-21st century reincarnation or in-other-ways-referential-to-ACD-canon fic as well. I love humour. I love intelligent characters. I love the musicality of words. I love well-constructed stories which have appropriate structures for their size and genre, and which have a beginning, a middle, and an end; that, and good SPAG, can smooth over all manner of things for me. I've been disappointed by good premises marred by poor presentation and pleased by well-packaged mundanity.

Things I find triggering or generally do not want: incest, mpreg, gender swap, deathfic, explicit or mature heterosexual sex, f/f sex, eating disorders, sensationalised transgender themes (though well-researched and realistic themes are fine), graphic/explicit violence and/or torture (though glossed-over is okay), omegaverse

Special requests: I'm really very uncomfortable writing heterosexual or f/f sex, but I think everything else is covered above. Thanks!
