I'm very fond of pining!SH, but really pining of any sort is delicious. SH doesn't need to be in a relationship but I'd like the fic to focus largely on him. Reichenbach-related angst is totally fine, although you don't have to go that way. If you could leave the ending ambiguous, or at least questionably happy, that would be fantastic. Although I really enjoy magical realism -- especially in a SH/JW/London (or NYC for Elementary) OT3 way -- I'm not super into soulmates or supernatural elements. If Mary Morstan, Sally Donovan, or Harry Watson should happen to feature in your fic, please treat them nicely; I have soft spots for them all. Gender exploration and/or trope subversion always welcome, as is anything well-researched (except for historical AUs). Plot would be great, porn is optional.

I'm not likely to write anything very explicit in terms of sexual content, and nothing even remotely close to novella-length. Open-ended prompts are better than detailed ones (in terms of plot elements). Not the best at UST, and probably won't write anything approaching dark!fic.
