Just to explain a few things

I know this is the first exchange of this type for some of you, so please listen up as I explain a few things that have come up several times now. (Read up. Um.)
You do not post your own stories or artwork to the comm. When you have finished your fanwork, you send it to the mods through holmesticemods@gmail.com or any of the accounts you may have received your assignment e-mail from. Once the posting period starts (December 1st), the mods will post your work anonymously. That means you do not reply to comments, unless it's anonymously, and you do not repost your work to any other journals until the Master List of works and creators goes up (January 1st).
A huge part of the fun with fests like this is that he gift-givers are anonymous. Your gift may have been created by your best friend, or a total stranger, or anyone in between. Please don't spoil it by breaking your anonymity.
I will put up a sign-up post for betas later today, where those interested in beta-ing fic and art can offer their assistance.
As usual: any questions, please ask. :)
