I love this story more with every chapter, which is saying something considering how much I loved the first chapter. This is amazing and brilliant and I can't wait to read more!
Holy hot Judo sparring, Batman! I wanted to run my hand inside Sherlock's gaping gi. And then that forceful kiss... Nummy. The reveal to Greg was a big happy. I'm glad he got a huge hug and not a punch, lol (although, after the Judo, I'd like to see him try). It was so nice that Greg was concerned about John and the anniversary. Only one chapter left! Onward...
So much goodness in this chapter!!! The sparring scene was *amazing* - it's a hard thing to write action and you've done a great job. And I love how you're settling John into things slowly, not just having him run headfirst into something he wouldn't normally do. And Greg's reaction? And Sherlock's reaction to Greg? PERFECT. Lovely!
1) Forget about John and Sherlock, I'm worried about Mrs. H's plant! Not watered, left unguarded. You just know Moran will go after it.
2) I love having a Sherlock who is a more than competent martial artist. Maybe it's the BBC stories I've read, but SH's skills as a swordsman and martial artist often seem to be minimized in comparison to John's fighting abilities (there are certainly exceptions to that).
