In the following part of fandom: ACD canon is my first choice, BBC a close second, but I will also author for Granada or Ritchie-verse
For the following pairings: Gen, squint, or canon-specific (i.e., Watson/Mary Morstan); Holmes/Watson or John/Sherlock; I'm willing to give other pairings a shot in a pinch as long as I find them plausible in canon (please don't ask me to write Holmes/Moriarty or Holmes/Adler in ACD-verse, for example...)
I like working with the following categories: I'm willing to try most things (with exceptions noted below), and I enjoy case-type fic and canon-related fic. I've never tried remixing someone else's story, but I'd be willing to try. I am not willing to write any of the following: RPF, non-con, incest, genderswap, torture porn, pain-play, mpreg, kid!fic, unrelentingly dark fic, character death, or outright horror.
I am willing to create for the following kinks: I'm a fairly vanilla writer in most of my works, but I have written a few R and NC-17 fics. I'm willing to venture into 'soft-core' versions of most consensual activities. I won't write non-con, incest, mpreg/genderswap, or explicit torture, please.

I like stuff in the following categories: Case fic makes me jump up and down with glee. Fill-in-the-missing-canon-scene is fabulous. Always wanted to write your own non-documented case write-up? Fabulous! Slice of life fics are great too, as is pretty much anything with a coherent thread of plot. Retirement fic frequently makes me giddy with glee. Humor is welcome and appreciated, as is h/c - and I really like my hurt/comfort leavened with humor and vice-versa. I don't mind dark moments, particularly if they're canon-related, but I prefer a hopeful or happy(ish) ending. AUs are cautiously welcome as long as the characters are still recognizably themselves, and there is no kid- or teen-ifying of anyone. Want to try remixing one of my stories or writing a tag scene? Fantastic! Basically,as long as it's well-written, I'm going to love whatever you write, I promise!
I wouldn’t mind any of the following kinks: Gen and squint-friendly is fine, as is relationship fic. (Anonymous sex between strangers is not a fave of mine.) As long as it's consensual activities between adults, I'm fairly open-minded, but I don't like blood or bodily fluids best confined to the water-closet, thanks, and I'm not fond of one-night-stands or infidelity fics. First-time fics are fine, as are sexytimes between long-term partners.
Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: My stories are a good representation of what I like - but check out some of my recommendations, too, and you'll see that I *like* to read a lot of things outside my usual categories that I'm not personally capable of writing. I'm a grammar and punctuation fiend, and I love to play games with the English language; I hope you are and do, too. I'd absolutely adore it if my prompt inspired you to write that fic/scene/plotbunny that you've always wanted to try but never quite got around to. - Mrs. Hudson brings in a tea-tray with a most unexpected object set in the middle.
