Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I'm a huge fan of the epic bromance between John and Sherlock. A sexual or romantic interaction for them is lovely, but it's the I love you/I've killed for you/I'd die for you bit makes me positively squeeful. Sexual/romantic identity crisis are always appreciated regardless of whether or not they end up together. Case fics are lovely. Side pairings which are not the focus of the story don't bother me but I'm really just here to read about John and Sherlock. PWP/gratuitous porn doesn't do it for me although sexually explicit material within the telling of a larger story is quite alright. I love UST like nobody's business. I like fics that get inside Sherlock's head. Feel free to beat them up a bit - bonus points for having one of them have to take care of the other with first aid/emergency care. Feel free to address the post-Reichenbach issues but while John would have been torn to pieces by Sherlock's "death" I hate seeing him waste away. More than just giving John a reason to live, I like to think that Sherlock also taught him HOW to live and now that John knows what it is he needs in his life to feel fulfilled, I'd like to see him make an effort at moving on and finding it.

Things I could rather do without: Omega!verse, vampires/werewolves/ghosts/angels or really anything in the supernatural realm. I hate seeing John presented as a bumbling idiot (he just looks that way compared to Sherlock). Chronic miscommunications. Yes, they're boys and they're British and stereotypes tell us that they'd sooner chew off their own foot than talk about what they're feeling but I don't like it. I see John as Sherlock's moral compass and while talking about touchy feeling subjects would be akward for him, I'd like to see him put forth a bit of effort because he knows that Sherlock needs it.

While seasonal/holiday-related is lovely, overly religious content is not appreciated. I'm not a huge fan of reading about Irene, Moriarty or Moran beyond furthering the plot as it applies to John and/or Sherlock. I work in a medical laboratory so if you're including science or medicine, please either know your stuff or do your research. Nothing turns me off faster than bad science.
