Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: Sherlock/John (or Holmes/Watson) is my preferred pairing. I am a sucker for flangst, prolonged misunderstandings, and break up/reunion fics. I would prefer a post-hiatus or hand-wavey timeline fic which does not delve too much into Reichenangst if at all, and I would prefer a happy ending. I love a Sherlock who is strange and characteristically socially tone-deaf, and a John who likes him that way and has an issue or two of his own. Sherlock attempting to be romantic and succeeding only in being very him about it would be amazing. Realistic and/or complicated portrayals of issues pertaining to sexuality are always a plus, though I don't need some kind of "oh no, am I gay?" angst bomb where that's the only subject on offer. I’m not one for asexuality or platonic romance fics. In the kinks corner, I would rather not see alpha/omega dynamics, vampires or werewolves, mpreg, heavy torture, blood/knife play, BDSM, non-con/dub-con, scat, or bestiality. Also, character bashing, especially of Sally, makes me very, very sad.

Desperately want to write a holiday fic? I would be interested in a fic where maybe John's mother is Jewish, and he celebrates both Jewish and Christian holidays. Could be the focus of the fic, background context, or a sideplot.

Special requests: Very long or specific prompts result in badfic from me, so I'd prefer broader or more open requests. I am especially into AUs and magical realism/fairy tale/fantasy right now, though not vampires and werewolves and such. I would prefer to be matched with someone who would like more plot than porn. I specialize in flangst and am probably not up for heavy angst or darkness this time around. I am straight-up not good at case-fic. I hope to be paired with someone who would like a more light-hearted story.
