I love AUS (prostitutes, historical AUs, apocalypse, alpha/omega, BDSM 'verse, vampires, whatever) and crossovers/fusion fic (I'm familiar with Firefly, Heroes, Star Trek AOS, Supernatural, Pretender, or Game of Thrones Season 1 for these purposes). I prefer established relationship to getting-together fic. I love characters dealing with difficult situations, navigating changes in their lives or relationship, and challenged to/beyond their limits. Feel free to press villains into service beyond the pairings listed if necessary in the service of angst. I'm also a fan of the stiff upper lip, and people not saying what they mean.

I'm very kink-friendly, to the point where I even like fic about kink (kink acceptance, kink negotiation), but I'm not a fan of kink-bashing or slut-shaming (unless it's a bad guy doing it, in which case, it's fun to boo and hiss). Other things I'd prefer not to receive include schmoop, het (except as background pairings), crack, suicidal ideation or suicide attempts, or anything hatin' on lady characters.
